Here I will list some of music videos we have research and have inspired us, giving us ideas to use within our own music video.

·      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auzfTPp4moA Here is the official music video for the songs heads will roll by ‘Yeah, yeah, yeahs’ we found this video to be very enlightening because this is the track that we are using for our video. It gave us several ideas on which we have expanded on. It has an eerie feel to it, which we would also like to use however we want to go a little further in depth in terms of locations and props, which suit this theme.

This video inspired us a lot as it contains a theme very similar to the one that we want to use for our music video. On the other hand it contains a long story, which we want to stray away from. One element of the video which we wish to use is the use of dark lighting techniques, we feel that this helps to dramatically emphasies the scary feeling within the video. Another aspect of the video we wish to use is some of the locations shown within it. One scene shows a graveyard, we feel that this would also be an effective way of conveying a horror themed video. The costumes which are worn within the video can be seen in the image below. They are clothes fitting of the genre of music however they are dirty, torn and ragged. We felt this worked very well within the video so we are considering also using similar sort of costumes in the production of our own music video.
